How it works

  • It is really important that you are able to find the right Therapist for you in order to feel safe and comfortable talking about what is troubling you.  I, therefore, offer a free initial session in order for us to meet and for you to tell me a little about what brings you to therapy. It enables you to ask me any questions that you want to and allows us to see if we both feel that we can work together. 

  • I will explain to you how I work and clearly let you know the limits of confidentiality within the law, prior to us starting working together.

  • We would agree to meet every week at the same time for 50 minutes and after six sessions I will check in with you to see how you are feeling about our work together. 

  • I work flexibly and collaboratively with you in order to support you and at certain times, you may feel that you need more support and we can meet twice per week for a period of time if that is right for you. 


  • The aim of therapy is not for me to give you advice, but rather to provide a safe, caring and confidential space in which you feel that you can talk openly and explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement.

  • I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework which means that I commit to working safely and professionally with you.  As part of this commitment, I have regular monthly supervision and have full liability insurance in place. I also have an enhanced DBS certificate.


Sessions are charged at £65 per 50 minute session for individuals and £130 per 60 minute session for couples. I offer some concessionary spaces when there is genuine need.
